Privacy policy

You can browse effects without uploading a photo or creating an account. Here is how we handle the information needed for a video order.

Your photos and video

Selecting a photo displays a local preview in your browser. Photos upload when you continue to save an order. We process the uploaded photos, fixed scene instructions, selected settings and resulting video to fulfill that order.

Photos and order media are accessed through private order authorization. The generation provider receives the input media needed to prepare the video. The operator may inspect inputs and outputs when fulfilling an order or resolving a generation or support problem.

Order records and optional email

We keep order identifiers, payment and fulfillment status, and the records needed to deliver your video, provide support and investigate duplicate or incorrect charges. Delivery email is optional and is used for order messages and delivery updates.

Stripe handles checkout payment details. Our studio does not collect full card numbers. Hosting, storage, generation, payment and email providers process the information needed for their roles; data may be processed outside your country.

Browser access and private links

An essential browser cookie provides access to your orders without an account. Your private order link contains a secret authorizing access to that individual order. Keep the complete link confidential; anyone holding it may access the order. Optional order emails may include that link.

Removing cookies, clearing browser data or changing devices can remove your browser access. Keep the private link, especially if you skip email. An email address alone is not an order access credential.

Public-page statistics

When configured on the official site, Umami measures visits to public pages independently of optional order diagnostics. It receives a public page path, permitted campaign labels and the origin of an external referring site. It excludes photos, email values, filenames, private order URLs, recovery tokens and private order pages.

Do Not Track and the Umami browser opt-out stop public-page collection. These controls are separate from optional order diagnostics.

Optional order diagnostics

With your permission, we record steps such as photo selection, template choices, checkout, order progress and safe error codes to improve the ordering experience. Authorized order references and a browser journey identifier help connect those steps.

Diagnostics exclude photo contents and filenames, email values, private links, card details and raw errors. Use the Diagnostic privacy control in the studio or order page to decline or withdraw permission. Do Not Track and saved opt-outs are respected. Declining diagnostics does not prevent purchase or delivery.

Retention and your choices

Uploaded photos are held privately while an order is being fulfilled or reviewed. Unpaid and refunded order media is scheduled for cleanup. Completed media is available until the deadline displayed on the order; after expiry, access is rejected and media is scheduled for deletion. Physical deletion runs in the background and may occur later.

Order records may remain for support, billing, fraud prevention and required recordkeeping. Copies processed by external providers follow their retention policies. Deletion here does not remove copies you downloaded or shared.

You can remove a photo before submission, decline optional email and diagnostics, or request help with access, correction or deletion at support@aieffectsvideo.com. We may need ownership evidence and may retain records required for outstanding orders, disputes or legal obligations. Do not send sensitive credentials in support messages.
